Team Championship finals day: Preview, live scores and watch live

It’s finals day at the 2025 World Squash Junior Championships as the USA, Egypt and Hong Kong, China compete for the honour of being crowned world champions.

Play begins with the women’s final at 14:00 (GMT+3), followed by the men’s final at 16:00.

At 14:00, hosts Egypt will step on court knowing they are potentially just two wins away from making national sporting history. The top seeds have won an incredible nine consecutive world championship titles in a run going back to Hong Kong 2007 and will be fired up at the opportunity to be crowned for a tenth successive time on home court.

Standing between them and history are Hong Kong, China. The No.2 seeds, playing in their first final since 2009, have impressed this week in Cairo, with their high-paced attacking game delivering an impressive win over last year’s finalists USA in the semi-finals yesterday.

In the men’s final, it’s top seeds Egypt v No.2 seeds USA. Egypt, playing in their 11th consecutive final, are looking to defend the title they recaptured last year in Houston, USA.

USA, meanwhile, are appearing in their first ever final after dominating India yesterday and will be hoping to spring a surprise in the bear-pit atmosphere of Black Ball.

Playing order today is 1-2-3.

In addition to today’s semi-finals, there are placing ties also taking place.
